Han var medlem av Assams lovgivende forsamling for valgkretsen Tamulpur og representerte fra 2021 United People's Party Liberal.
Boro døde av covid-19 på Guwahati Medical College & Hospital i Guwahati, i en alder av 63 år.[1][2]
